Daniel - Good Portion of Book

Ch. 2: King of Babylon's dream of earth's future kingdoms. He forgets dream. Daniel and three friends pray, receive dream and the interpretation. Daniel and three are promoted.

Ch. 7: Daniel's dream of the coming kingdoms of earth's history outlined. Kingdom of Christ set up. Detain on antichrist and how long antichrist to rule.

Ch. 8: Daniel's second vision - Ram kingdom (Media-Persia) overcome by Goat kingdom (Greece). Jump to end-times with antichrist coming from Greek spiritual source.

Ch. 11: Daniel's prophecy of coming future of Medes and then Greece. Detailed prophecy (now history) through Greek future. Verse 40 jumps to last days with same spirit of Greece (see ch. 8) as antichrist.

Ch. 12: Last days - Resurrection, judgment. Time, times and 1/2 a time length prophecy. Lengths of time listed.

Hosea 2:16-23 - Israel to be faithful to God, peace and safety. Married to God.

Joel 2:1-32 - Last day judgment of God and blessing on Israel

Joel 3:1-21 - Armageddon and future blessings and curses

Zechariah - Whole Book (This book starts out with immediate issues of the time with Israel, but takes a Revelation-style look to the future. Best to look at the book as a whole.)

Ch. 1: v. 1-6 - Initial call of those of the captivity to repentance.

v. 7-17 - The decree for God's restoration of Jerusalem after Babylonian captivity.

v. 18-21 - Judah had been broken up by Gentile nations, but now Judah to be restored.

Ch. 2: v. 1-9 - Scattered Israel to be restored and have God's protection again as a nation in the land.

v. 10-13 - The Lord's Kingdom to be established in Zion. Many nations to join to the Lord.

Ch. 3: v. 1-7 - The high priest at the time of Zechariah is called and purified.

v. 8-10 - Jump into prophecy of Christ's first coming.

Ch. 4: v. 1-10 - God behind the rebuilding of the temple after the captivity.

v. 11-14 - The two anointed ones who stand by the Lord are seen.

Ch. 5: v. 1-4 - Scroll with judgment for sins.

v. 5-11 - Wickedness built a home in Shinar (land of Babylon).

Ch. 6: v. 1-8 - Four spirits go out into world to accomplish God's will. North country completely dealt with.

v. 9-15 - Prophecy of Christ's coming rulership and rebuilding of temple.

Ch. 7: v. 1-14 - True fasts and mourning for iniquity called for, not ones with corrupt, self-serving hearts. Because of former hardness, this captivity came.

Ch. 8: v. 1-19 - Jerusalem to be a city where blessing lies, where righteous justice is decreed.

v. 20-23 - Eventually all nations to seek Jerusalem and to know the God of the Jews.

Ch. 9: v. 1-7 - God's decree against enemy nations of Israel.

v. 8-11 - God to watch out for Jerusalem. Christ to come and bring salvation and eventual worldwide peace and dominion.

v. 12-17 - Israel to be delivered from Greece by God.

Ch. 10: v. 1-12 - Scattered remnants of Israel world- wide to be regathered to the land of Israel.

Ch. 11: v. 1-9 - Israel compared to sheep.

v. 10-13 - Prophecy of Christ's first coming and rejection by Israel.

v. 14-17 - Prophecy of false Messiah coming that they will receive (antichrist).

Ch. 12: v. 1-14 - Armageddon and Jerusalem to recognize their rejected Messiah.

Ch. 13: In Millennium Israel will turn to God. One third shall survive the Armageddon to serve the Lord.

Ch. 14: v. 1-15 - Detailed description of Christ's second coming and Armageddon.

v. 16-21 - Details on millennium.

Malachi 3:1-5 - Christ's coming - both first and second hinted at.

Malachi 3:16-18 - Book of remembrance for those that love and serve God to be used in the Day of Judgment.

Malachi 4:1-6 - Second Coming - blessing to godly, judgment to the wicked. Elijah to come before the Day of the Lord.

Revelation Outline

Ch. 1: Jesus appears to John.
Ch. 2: Letters to churches.
Ch. 3: Letters to churches.
Ch. 4: Scene in the throne room.
Ch. 5: Introduction of Lamb in throne room.
Ch. 6: Seven seals which cover entire tribulation time. Note: 5th seal, clothes for saints while other saints yet to come and 6th seal takes us to Armageddon.
6:9-11 (Christians in Tribulation)
Ch. 7: 144,000 Jews and then saints in heaven. In first part, we see Jewish believers and wonder where Gentile believers, hence explanation follows:
7:13-17 - the Gentile believers were the great martyring.
Ch. 8: 7th seal opened. 7th seal is the 7 trumpets. Trumpets 1-4.
8:6 - 7 trumpets prepare to sound.
Ch. 9: Trumpets 5 & 6.
Ch. 10: Little book John eats.
10:7 - When 7th trumpet begins to sound, mystery finished.
Ch. 11: Two witnesses in the beginning of the 7th trumpet.
Ch. 12: Beings parentheticals to view other events happening simultaneously during tribulation. 12 is the story of Satan and God's people.
Ch. 13: Description of Antichrist
13:7 - Given to him to make war with the Saints and to overcome them.
13:10 - In this jump back telling us about Antichrist, we see the endurance of the saints mentioned.

Ch. 14: This chapter jumps back to the 144,000's beginning and various changes that begin describing the final harvest and Armageddon.
Ch. 15 & 16: Parentheticals of vials that lead up to Armageddon. These are bowls of God's wrath that ends at Armageddon.
Ch. 17: Parenthetical of Babylon world religion.
Ch. 18: Parenthetical of Babylon city.
18:4 - In this jump back we find God's people mentioned. His people are what comprise the church.
Ch. 19: Scene in heaven as coming for marriage of Lamb/Armageddon comes with all dead saints.
Ch. 20: Satan bound, millennium and Satan loosed again. Army against Jerusalem and final judgment.
20:4 - Saints who suffered in Tribulation.
Ch. 21: New heaven and new earth. New Jerusalem comes out of heaven to earth and description of Lamb's wife.
Ch. 22: Serve and see God. Tree of Life and final words.

Note: The italicized references, in the Revelation Outline, are passages where the scriptures show the church is still around during the tribulation and found on earth after the letters found in chapters 2 and 3.
